JUNK DRAWER / PRIVACY
Last updated: 25 April 2026
Junk Drawer collects no personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. No analytics, no telemetry, no account, no cloud.
Everything in the list above. None of it is uploaded, transmitted, shared with us, sold, or sent to any third party. There are no servers, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no advertising identifiers, no first-party or third-party tracking.
If you enable auto-import, the app reads screenshots from your Photos library — only items tagged by iOS as screenshot. The app never modifies, deletes, or uploads anything in your Photos library. We don't ever access non-screenshot photos.
You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Junk Drawer → Photos. After revoking, any screenshots already imported into Junk Drawer remain in the app's container until you delete them inside the app.
If your device supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later, iOS 26+) and you have it enabled, Junk Drawer uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to classify and summarize screenshots. This processing happens entirely on your device — Apple's models do not transmit your screenshot content off the device for this functionality. Apple's own privacy policy describes how the framework operates: apple.com/privacy.
Junk Drawer offers optional tips inside the app, processed by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your name, email, address, or payment details. Apple may share standard purchase metadata (transaction ID, anonymized identifier) per their App Store privacy practices. We use this only to confirm the purchase succeeded; we do not retain or correlate it with anything else.
Junk Drawer is not directed at children under 13. We collect no information from anyone, so there is no special handling required for children's data. The app's content is safe for all ages.
If this policy ever changes, the change will appear here with a new "last updated" date. Substantive changes (anything that affects what data is or isn't collected) will also appear in the app's release notes for the version they take effect in.
